Chincol
Zonotrichia Capensis Antofagastae
I’m the Chicol, My lenght is about 15 centimeters and I’m the most common bird in Chile. I live on fields, hills, gardens and town squares.
In Chile, I´ve been seen flying around 4500 meters above sea level. I’m well known for my slighty crested grey head and two black side strips. I have a reddish brown strip behind my neck. I’m a lone bird that only seeks for a partner on breeding period, I’m a little scared of humans and my song has two well known sounds that I use as an alarm. My favorite meal are seeds and worms. Yummy!
